The sewer clot is a semi-sentient mass of plasmic goop that feeds on almost any organic material. Though its existence may be tolerable or even preferable in sewer environments depending on the level of waste in its local ecosystem, a sewer clot can become a serious problem for urban areas when it has absorbed enough waste to become engorged. An engorged sewer clot begins to consume everything in its path and can completely clog up the pipes in which it feeds.

 Though it shares many similarities with other ooze creatures, the sewer clot’s primary differentiating characteristic is in its physical composition, which is made up of unaltered sewage and other rotting organic material held together by the clot’s naturally secreting binding agent. Most creatures that come into brief proximity with the clot risk severe disease and possible death.

 The sewer clot’s name comes from its most commonly observed habitat, where organic matter is abundant. Sewer clots can, however, be found in natural environments with a high density of other creatures which produce waste, such as harpy-infested swamps.
