Oshoxi navigators are squids approximately fifteen feet in length that can teleport distances of up to ten miles in search of food. When an oshoxi navigator teleports, it also teleports alongside it any other creatures that are within five feet of it. Oshoxi navigators have two eyes of different physical characteristics — one eye, large and yellow, looks upward towards the water’s surface, scanning for the shadows of potential prey in the waters above. The other eye, smaller and blue, looks downward, searching for bioluminescence produced by predators or prey in the depths below. The squids eat mainly fish and crustaceans, and will prowl a specific area until they have exhausted it of food sources, at which point they teleport themselves to new hunting grounds. Oshoxi navigators are not easily disturbed and attack only in pursuit of prey or when seriously provoked, using their powerful tentacles and toxic ink to grapple and then incapacitate their targets.
