Goblin ranksplitters are among the most physically fearsome of their kind. They are significantly stronger, bigger, and faster than the average goblin, whether by random genetic variance or deliberate magical enhancement. They are equipped with spiked helmets and heavy armor plating that covers much of their body, allowing them to charge through enemy lines and cause chaos within their formations. Their preferred weapons of choice are always suited for close quarters, for ranksplitters believe that ranged combat is inherently cowardly. Ranksplitters usually like to harden themselves for combat by absorbing repetitive, self-inflicted blows to the head. During training, they run head-first into walls or break wooden planks over each other’s skulls.
